The 230th Battle of Newtown
AUGUST  29  &  30, 2009

Continentals fire at Indians and Loyalists.

Join us at Newtown Battlefield State Park for this exciting commemoration and recreation
of the Battle of Newtown, as we honor and pay homage to the men on both sides who fought over the land that would soon become a part of the new country called the United States of America.

The quiet mountaintop will again erupt with activity as the British Crown forces and their Native allies clash with the soldiers of the Continental Army.

Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of military life in the time of our American Revolution.  Watch 18th century-style warfare in tactile action and full battle re-enactments on both Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th.
