Duperon Corporation, a global leader in liquid/solids separation technologies for water, wastewater, and industrial applications, has announced that Mark Turpin, the company's President, has become a co-owner. He joins Founder Terry Duperon and CEO Tammy Bernier in ownership of the company.
This change reflects a long-held vision by Terry Duperon and Tammy Bernier to expand ownership, focusing on stewardship, continuity, and recognizing leaders who align with the company’s values and long-term goals. Turpin, who joined Duperon in 2016 as President, has played a key role in the company’s growth, innovation, and culture.
Tammy Bernier, CEO, highlighted Turpin's importance in shaping Duperon’s current direction, citing his leadership, integrity, and commitment to employees, customers, and the water industry as factors that made this decision a natural progression for the company.
Terry Duperon, Founder, also expressed strong confidence in Turpin, describing him as thoughtful, strategic, and reliable—qualities that have greatly contributed to Duperon’s success. He emphasized that this decision is crucial for the company’s future and expressed excitement about the path ahead under Turpin's leadership.
With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and executive roles, Turpin has guided Duperon to continued growth, product launches, and industry innovations. His leadership extends beyond Duperon, with his involvement in the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) as well as the Saginaw Economic Development Corporation.
In a statement, Turpin said, “This company’s purpose, people, and passion for protecting water resources are what make it special.” He looks forward to continuing to build a company that makes a lasting impact on the water industry, communities, and future generations.
Turpin is recognized as a trusted leader and mentor within the company, promoting professional and personal growth among Duperon employees. His leadership reinforces values of integrity, ownership, and continuous improvement, which are integral to the company’s culture.
Mark Turpin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Heidelberg University (1996). This shift in ownership highlights Duperon’s commitment to long-term leadership and innovation in its mission to positively impact people, water, and the planet.
